My name is Emily Rawson (although people know me as Millie) and I am a twenty year old blogger and writer in love with all things fashion, music, lifestyle, beauty and Lush Cosmetics related.

Career:

Me interviewing Pierce The Veil in 2012.
"My career as a journalist started when I was 15 and I was given the opportunity to photograph A Day To Remember. This was the evening my first editor found me hiding in the corner of the photo pit because I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING and my career as a journalist was born due to him inviting me to interview the band. Honestly, I'd have no idea that before my twenties I'd have already:
-interviewed and met all of my heroes.
-landed myself multiple editorial roles from general staff and reviewer through to the sub-editor, live reviews and feature editor and the introducing editor for publications both printed and online.
-Attended over 200+ shows and dozens of festivals.
-Branched out into the fashion and beauty world.
-Attended VIP events such as Red Bull records launch parties, album release parties and shows and London Fashion Weekend.
-Got to meet some of the most incredible people along the way."
(Please look at my portfolio page for more details.)

Lush and Ethics:

I'm one of those people who believes in making the world a better place one step at a time. Last summer I landed a job working for Lush Cosmetics and have been using their goodies since I was 13! Fortunately I've become a bit of a Lush expert and have started my own YouTube Channel named after my favorite Lush solid shampoo: Godiva. This is my place to give online consultations to those looking to make their lives a more environmentally and ethical one.  I believe in ethically sourcing materials and ingredients making sure that everything I use is cruelty free and has little effect on the environment as possible. I am an active member and campaigner for Peta, Amnesty International and other humanitarian charities and organisations.

Fashion

I'm known for my unusual fashion sense and always have been! Don't get me wrong I would happily spend £200 on a pair of DMs but my bargain hunting instincts always kick in. Whether it's the sale room/rack, ebay or even just a bit of good ol' thrift shopping I know how to shop. Again I like my fashion sense to be ethical so no sweat shop or animal harming threads here! After years of reading Vogue, Marie Claire and Cosmo, I've decided to dip my feet in a little further into the world of fashion by blogging about my hauls, bargains I've found, trends I've liked and even the odd fashion event or two (see you at The London Fashion Weekend!)
